ELECTROPRENEUR PARK

Electropreneur Park (EP) was launched in August 2016 as an ESDM incubator and it has been actively supporting start-ups and budding entrepreneurs since inception. The focus of the incubation centre has always been in providing a launch pad for hardware-based start-ups which create products with Intellectual Property (IP) rights within the country, thus adding to the IP bank of India.

EP achieved its milestone of 5 years in August 2021, and it has been provided extension to continue operations till 31st March 2024 with a target to facilitate 58 start-ups. EP Delhi has facilitated 59 start-ups with a cumulative valuation of more than ₹ 640 Crore till 31st January 2024. Below is a snapshot of EP’s journey of more than half a decade.

The success of EP has paved the way for “EP 2.0”. The EP 2.0 is envisioned to be of relevance to every interested start-up at different levels of maturity to emerge as a strong product company in the ESDM domain. Keeping in consideration the different levels of requirements and support required by different groups of potential start-ups in the ESDM domain, the EP 2.0 proposes segmented initiatives to cater to these specific needs.

EP 2.0 is expanding its pre-incubation and incubation reach to a wider student base and MSMEs. It will also offer acceleration and industry collaboration programmes to start-ups ready for their next growth phase. During this growth-oriented phase, the focus will be on creating a range of commercially viable ESDM products and products derived from innovations in cognitive computing and social sensing.
